Osiyo! - O-si-yo (Hello in Cherokee) my name is Renee, I was born and raised in California and now living in Oklahoma. I am 48 years old and have 1 1/2 furbabies ( lol I co-parent a cat).  I am half Cherokee and half -mixture of Irish, German, Scandinavian ← a possibility 

I got started in Genealogy when I was in high school way back before there was internet. I had to go to the local libraries to do my researches. It was during my college years that genealogy piqued my interest when I learned I could get a grant if I proved my ancestors had fought in the Civil War.  I thought alright!
